Veronica MacDonald - Aromatherapy

Veronica MacDonald, is an aromatherapist living in Provence, France. She is the wife and partner of Levashov Healer, Dr. Richard Blasband. Veronica’s unique aromatherapy solutions are created from the rich, organic, flower essences  from the well-known, floral bounty of the Provencal area as well as essential oils from Africa and India. Additionally, all solutions are imbued with Levashov Healing programs custom designed for each client based on their individual needs and desires.

This kind of aromatherapy/alchemical craft can be sourced back four thousand years, from ancient Egypt, Persia, the Ottoman Empire, and the potion makers of the European Renaissance, all using the living energy of flowers through the methods of enfleurage, distillation, expression and solvent extraction and the powerful intention of the healer.

In addition, Veronica creates creams and balms for face and body, to soothe, moisturize, detox and replenish the skin.  She can create these creams to address a variety of issues. All creams are made from natural ingredients in specific recipes customized for each individual client.

About Aromatherapy:

Aromatherapy is a holistic healing treatment which uses natural plant extracts and essential oils to improve and to support the health of body, mind and spirit.

Aromatherapy enhances physical and emotional wellbeing, helps improve issues such as anxiety and stress, as well as problems with sleep and skin amongst countless others.

How can essential oils be used:

Inhalation:

Essential oils can be inhaled into the lungs to offer psychological and physical benefits. Not only does the aroma of the essential oil stimulate the brain to trigger a reaction, but when inhaled into the lungs, the natural constituents (naturally occurring chemicals) can supply therapeutic benefits.

Diffusing:

Essential oils can also be diffused to help disinfect a room, to help ease congestion or to aid concentration in a working environment.

Topical Application:

Essential oils that are applied to the skin (not neat) can be helpful with skin care and addressing topical and muscular concerns.

Essential oils are very powerful and concentrated and should never be applied to the skin in their undiluted form. To apply essential oils to the skin, they are typically diluted into a carrier such as a cold pressed vegetable oil, also known as a carrier oil. Common carrier oils include sweet almond oil, apricot kernel oil and olive and grapeseed oil.

The essential oils used are all organic and have been scientifically tested and their efficacy proven.

Following consultation, all preparations are exclusively and specifically made up for each client’s requirements .
